Description
After the Fusing Unit Drive Motor On, the Fusing Unit Belt Speed Sensor output does not
change within the specified time. |

Procedure
Enter the Diag Mode, turn ON the Chain-Link for the Fusing Unit Drive Motor.
High model: DC330 [010-001]
Mid model: DC330 [010-004]
Low model: DC330 [010-006]
Does the Fusing Unit Drive Motor or the Fusing Belt, P/Roll rotate?
Y N
Turn OFF the power and disconnect the power plug. Check the connection between the Motor Drive PWB J426 and J427, and the Fusing Unit Drive Motor J201 and J211 for open circuit, short circuit, and poor contact.
If no problem is found, replace the following parts in sequence: However, each time a
parts is replaced, check whether the Fail is still occurring and return the part if it has no problems.
Fusing Unit Drive Motor (PL 3.1, PL 3.2)
Motor Drive PWB (PL 18.2, PL 18.5)
Open circuit in the Fusing Unit Belt Speed Sensor may have occurred. Turn OFF the power and disconnect the power plug. Check the following:
The Drawer Connector (DP/DJ600, P/J600) between the Main Unit and the Fusing Unit for broken/bent pins, burn damage, foreign matter, etc.
The connection between the Motor Drive PWB J420 and the Drawer Connector J600 for open circuit, short circuit, and poor contact.
If no problem is found, replace the Fusing Unit. (PL 7.1) |
